Report from Los Angeles 6/3/20
I drove down Abbot Kinney; many of the small neighborhood shops were boarded up, but not all. Same thing along Main St. in Venice and Santa Monica. There were barricades on Main and Pacific, and cars cannot enter downtown Santa Monica. Heavily armed California National Guardsman are standing guard, and others were headed to local hotels to catch up on some sleep. The shops in the new Village development were all boarded as well as some of the businesses along PCH. National Guard were stationed there as well.
