Trump’s Documents
I think we all want to know what was in the 20 boxes of documents that Trump was refusing to turn over to the National Archives. Was it his love letters with the North Korean leader or the notes of his meetings with the Russian leader? Did it include the nation’s nuclear secrets or simply lists of possible Christmas presents for his wife, ex-wives and children? Were all the missing and deleted text messages and phone calls about the January 6 insurrection in there? What about his plans with Eastman, Giuliani, Stone, Perry and others about overthrowing the election results and then pardoning the perpetrators? How about his tax returns and their audits? What about the text messages and other communications to and from the Defense Department, Homeland Security, White House and the Secret Service in the lead up and aftermath of January 6?
He has been famously deceitful, a master of the cover-up, shredder of documents, clogger of White House toilets, and litigious to the nth degree to protect himself from what he knows are embarrassing disclosures. His worst enemy to his own secrets and those of the American people has always been himself as he cannot help making inappropriate disclosures as he blabbers along in his oft incoherent stream of consciousness, and his best allies and enablers have been GOP base voters and pliant politicians and his friends at Fox News and the other parts of the Murdoch media empire that excuse his constant stream of lies and deceitful conduct.
