Barbara Bollier, MD for US Senate in Kansas

Barbara Bollier is running for US Senate in Kansas to replace retiring Republican Pat Roberts. She was a moderate Republican state Senator who turned Democrat in 2018 in reaction to her party’s rightward turn under Governor Sam Brownback and President Donald Trump.

She is a strong supporter of Medicaid expansion and of the Affordable Care Act. She has fought for Medicaid expansion and funding for K-12 education and against Governor Brownback’s decimation of the Kansas state budget

She is endorsed by Kathleen Sebelius, the popular Democratic ex-Governor of Kansas and by Nancy Kassenbaum, the popular Republican ex-Senator from Kansas. In 2018, she strongly supported Laura Kelly, the moderate Democrat who won the Governorship against Kris Kobach.

I hope you will join me in supporting her candidacy for the US Senate. We need her voice and vote to build on the Affordable Care Act and build coverage for all Americans.
