Flipping the Senate 10/23/20
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-election-forecast/senate/
The 538 forecast is that the Democrats have a 74/100 chance of winning the Senate. They would have 51 or 52 votes to 49 or 48 for Republicans.
The forecast lists the Senate races by how close they are, so 50/50 is a total toss-up. So here’s their forecast by state. There are lots of very close races that could go either way.
Iowa: Greenfield (D) = 57/100
Georgia: Perdue (R) = 69/100
North Carolina: Cunningham (D) = 64/100
Maine: Gideon (D) = 64/100
Montana: Daines (R) = 67/100
Georgia: Warnock (D) = 53/100
Kansas: Marshall (R) = 74/100
South Carolina (R) : Graham = 76/100
Arizona: Kelly (D) = 78/100
Alabama: Tuberville (R) = 77/100
Michigan: Peters (D) = 80/100
Alaska: Sullivan (R) = 79/100
Colorado: Hickenlooper (D) = 84/100
The Democrats with the best chances of winning and needing the most help are: Greenfield in Iowa, Warnock and Ossoff in Georgia, Cunningham in North Carolina, Gideon in Maine, and Bullock in Montana.
Please in the short time that remains help flip the Senate and ditch Mitch McConnell. Stay well and vote.
Thanks, best, Lucien
